Long Green Responds on the Tanker Strike Team: Fire Box 50-2

12/15/09 - At 11:25pm Long Green was alerted to respond with Engine 381 on the tanker strike team for the 2nd alarm dwelling fire on 12607 Nancy Lee Ct. Engine 381 quickly responded and upon arrival began shuttling water from the draft site to the fire scene. Engine 381 hauled about 10,000 gallons of water and assisted crews in racking over 2000 feet of 5 inch supply line. Engine 381 was utilized for this incident due to its large water capacity of 2000 gallons. Engine 381 cleared the scene at 2:19am, almost 3 hours after dispatched.
